Design Inspiration for River Oaks Garden Club

River Oaks Garden Club, filled with beautiful gardens tucked in the heart of a modern neighborhood, was the perfect space for me to bring a glimpse of France to Texas.

The focal point of this editorial was the intentional details that brought about a refreshing elegance. From the intricate headpiece to hand-painted candles, each aspect was incorporated purposefully and crafted with dedication and heart.

The semi-circle element was subtly weaved through the ceremony setup, the flowers that surrounded the cake, and the arches to create a sense of continuity from one space to another.

For the table that was just too pretty, our floral designer came up with the idea of a structure above the table adorned with greenery and flowers, which framed the table perfectly and created a gorgeous space for intentional gathering and conversation.

There were two dresses that were handpicked to bring contrast yet remained cohesive in the entire setting. The sleeves and floral detailing were my favorite parts of the ivory gown. The beige gown instantly held my attention with its beautiful high-low skirt and playful design.
